I believe that God gave us music as a special way for His children to communicate with Him. We use music for many different purposes, but in a Christian environment we have the opportunity to use it for its real purpose: to give God our thanks, praise, and intercessions. Since God gave us this wonderful gift, it should be our job, as educators, to teach our students how to fully use it. Music works for us, giving glory to God, but it also gives God another way to minister to us. In an environment where we are showing our children the work of God in every facet of their lives, music is an indispensible gift for us to nurture their walk with Christ.
